Ing. Kenneth Ashigbey
Ing. Kenneth Ashigbey (FCE, FGIM, PMP, Cert IoD, MIoD), is the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Telecommunications Chamber, a role he assumed on 1st of November 2017.
Prior to his appointment, he was Managing Director of Graphic Communications Group Ltd. Before then he was the Chief Operating Officer for Multi TV, General Manager of JoyFm as well as the Chief Technology Officer of the group at different times. In between his time at Multimedia, he was also Managing Director of Optimum Media Prime, a media independent and marketing company. He left Fanel Ltd, a building services engineering company as a Senior Projects Engineer.
He is currently pursuing a Doctorate degree in Business Administration at the Swiss Management Centre. He holds an MBA from the Leicester University (UK) and a BSc in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He had his secondary education at St. Augustine’s College.
He is Project Management professional, a holder of Certificate in Company Direction from IoD UK. He is a Senior Member of the Ghana Institution of Engineers, a Fellow of the following organizations,
- Institute of Chartered Economist Ghana
- the Ghana Institute of Management,
- Board Room Institute
- and the African Project and Programme Management Association.
He is also a member of Ghana Journalists Association, Institute of Directors Ghana, and Institute of Public Relations Ghana.
He is currently a member of the Board of Trustee of the Ghana Blood Foundation, Pent Assets & Wealth Management Limited and the Governing Council of AUCC and the 1st Vice President of Ghana Institute of Management and Ghana Table Tennis Association and also the convener of the Media Coalition Against Galamsey (An advocacy group that has led the fight against illegal mining in Ghana with remarkable success).
